Double Visibility, Single Footprint
A double-sided poster stand mounts two snap-open sign holders back-to-back on a single adjustable upright pole, sharing one base. The result is a display unit that is visible from both directions of foot traffic flow while occupying the same floor space as a single-sided stand.
This design is essential for placement in bidirectional pedestrian corridors — shopping mall walkways, hotel corridors, event aisles, and transit areas where people approach from both ends. A single-sided stand would leave half your audience seeing only the back of the frame.
Each sign holder uses the same snap-open frame system as the single-sided variant, so graphic changes are fast and tool-free on both faces. Front and back inserts can display the same artwork for consistent messaging, or different content — for example, a sale promotion on one side and a wayfinding arrow on the other.
Features and Construction
Back-to-Back Snap Frames
Both poster faces use the same snap-open frame construction — press the four edges to release, swap the graphic insert, press closed. Each face operates independently, so changing one side's message does not require touching the other. Total changeover time for both faces is under 2 minutes.
Adjustable Height Pole
The central pole adjusts from approximately 120 cm to 180 cm, allowing the frames to be positioned at the right eye level for the environment. A single lock mechanism adjusts both frames simultaneously, maintaining the parallel alignment of front and back faces.
Heavy Stable Base
The base is weighted to handle the larger display assembly without tipping when either face experiences a gentle nudge — important in busy corridors where accidental contact from passersby is common. The cross-foot base minimizes trip risk while providing stability in both axis directions.
Dual Independent Content
Unlike a single billboard-format display, the back-to-back design allows completely different content on each face. Use different languages, different offers, or one for wayfinding and one for promotion — without the cost and footprint of a second stand unit.
Best Applications
Center-aisle placement in shopping mall walkways ensures shoppers in both directions see promotional messaging. A single double-sided stand in a high-traffic corridor reaches more people than two single-sided stands placed against opposite walls.
Position at the entrance to conference halls with schedule information on one face and directional wayfinding on the other. Both arriving and departing attendees see relevant information without needing to walk around the stand.
Department signage, health promotion messaging, and visitor information in hospital corridors where traffic flows in both directions throughout the day. Professionally printed inserts maintain a clean, credible appearance expected in healthcare environments.
Strengths and Limitations
Strengths
- Visible from both traffic directions — twice the audience per display unit
- Two independent content areas allow different messaging per face
- Same footprint as single-sided — no additional floor space needed
- Snap frames allow fast independent graphic changes per face
Limitations
- Indoor use only — not weather-resistant for outdoor deployment
- Slightly heavier and bulkier to transport and store than single-sided variant
- Only 180° visible — not suitable for open-floor situations with 360° audience approach
